Tubeless tyres run stiffer, tighter beads than tubed clinchers, which is exactly what makes them hard to fit by hand. The longer shaft on these levers multiplies the force you can apply, so you spend less energy and put less stress on your hands when wrestling a fresh tyre onto a rim or pulling one off at the roadside.
Hook feature for the final bead
The trickiest part of any tubeless fit is the last stretch of bead. The built-in hook lets you draw that final section up and over the rim wall in a controlled way, helping protect the tyre bead, the rim and your rim tape in the process.
