The P ZERO SmarTUBE is the most advanced inner tube in Pirelli's range, first developed for World Tour riders inside the P ZERO Race Tub SL. It swaps butyl for TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) to save weight and space – ideal for upgrading a clincher set-up or as a compact spare for tubeless riders. Choose a valve length of 60mm and 80mm.

Highlights

• TPU construction: up to 70% lighter than an equivalent butyl tube
• Up to 50% more compact – a tiny, light spare
• Puncture resistance comparable to butyl
• Suits disc and rim brake wheels
• Black Presta valve

Lightness

Around 35g, the P ZERO SmarTUBE can save up to 70% of the weight of an equivalent butyl tube – a noticeable drop in rotating weight.

TPU

Thermoplastic polyurethane is elastic and mechanically strong, giving a tube as puncture resistant as butyl at a fraction of the weight and size.

Compatibility & fit

Fits 700C road tyres from 23 to 32mm. Pick 60mm for most road rims and 80mm for deeper-section rims. Compatible with disc and rim brakes. Tube size and material are the same across both options; only valve length changes. Tube fitting is available as a separate workshop service; it is not included in the price.
