Pillar’s rim/nipple washers sit under the nipple head at the rim bed, spreading its load over a wider area of the rim eyelet and stopping the nipple from digging into the rim wall as it’s tensioned.

Compatibility & fit

Fits standard J-bend and straight-pull nipples on rims that use eyelet washers; the Tune Cycles workshop will tell you whether your rim and nipple combination needs them when it builds or re-spokes your wheel.

Pillar backs its spokes, nipples and tools against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship; it doesn’t cover damage from an incorrect spoke length, over-tensioning, crash damage or normal wear. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we’ll manage the claim with Pillar’s Australian distributor.
