The Oi Classic is the bell Knog spent five years and 140 prototypes getting right: it wraps around the handlebar instead of sticking up from it, and a spring-loaded striker gives a firm, fast ring with a core tone and several higher tones so it's clearly heard. This is the Large size for 23.8–31.8 mm bars, in Silver.

The sound

The spring-loaded actuator is built into the mount, so each strike is firm and fast, balancing volume against how long the tone rings on. Knog tuned it to carry one core pitch plus several supporting higher tones.

Cable management

The mount's shape leaves room for your brake and gear cables, so the bell sits flush and helps keep the cables together.

Compatibility & fit

The Large Oi fits round bars from 23.8 mm to 31.8 mm. For 23.8, 25.4 or 26 mm bars, fit the matching spacer (supplied) so the bell sits flush, with the gap facing straight up; on a 23.8 mm bar, the supplied rubber tape goes inside the larger spacer.

Fit it on a cylindrical section of the bar that isn't curved or tapered. Knog says the Oi isn't suitable for aero bars. To size it, measure the bar diameter where you want the bell: Knog's guide suggests callipers, or measuring the circumference and dividing by 3.14.
