Spacers set heights and preload in the headset and cockpit. The right diameter and thickness keeps the stem, cone or top cover seated properly.

Spacers are cheap to replace but easy to lose during a service or a stem swap. Keep the stack order the same when you refit the cockpit, and check the steerer still sits just below the top of the stem.

It suits FSA SMR 0° stems. If you can, compare it with the part you're replacing, or quote the code printed on the old part.

Fitting

Use the correct tool and torque for the part, and replace worn or damaged hardware rather than reusing it. Our workshop can fit it for you if you'd rather not do it at home.
