Why double clamps?

A single outboard clamp can allow the inboard end of a grip to rotate slightly under hard braking or cornering loads. The second inboard clamp eliminates that movement entirely, giving confidence that the grip is locked solid from end to end — critical when you need precise bar control on technical descents.
