Drive it with a ratchet or torque wrench

The M097 has a 1/2-inch square drive, so it works with a ratchet such as IceToolz's 53R4 two-way ratchet wrench, or with a 1/2-inch drive torque wrench when you need to hit the cup maker's torque figure. Because it's a socket rather than an open spanner, it sits flat on the cup and spreads the load across all twelve notches.

Compatibility & fit

IceToolz lists the M097 for 12-notch, 46mm OD external cups: SRAM DUB, Race Face Cinch, Rotor BSA30, Zipp Vuma, Hawk Racing BB3086 and other external bottom bracket systems using that cup. Larger 50.4mm cups such as T47 take IceToolz's M098 instead. Check your cup before ordering.
