Found your bar height and not planning to move it? The Equalizer Zero is FUNN's race-proven Equalizer stem without the offset, holding the bar dead level for a predictable front end lap after lap.

Choosing a length

A shorter stem quickens the steering and takes weight off the front wheel; a longer one calms it and helps the front tyre bite on climbs. Length changes your reach too, so a big jump is a fit change as well as a feel change. 35mm is the shortest stem FUNN makes. If you want 10mm of rise or drop instead of zero, look at the standard Equalizer, which shares the same faceplate kit.

Fitting

Fit the faceplate with the "No Gap" marking at the top. Tighten the upper faceplate bolts to 6Nm first so there is no gap between the faceplate and the stem body, then tighten the lower bolts to the same torque. The faceplate bolts are M5 x 0.8mm.

Compatibility & fit

• Steerer: 1-1/8in
• Handlebar clamp: 31.8mm. A 35mm clamp version is a separate listing, as the two are not interchangeable
• Needs at least a 55mm straight centre section on the handlebar
• Faceplates: FUNN Equalizer Stem Faceplate Kit (fits Equalizer and Equalizer Zero)
