ENVE SES 6.7 DT 240 EXP hand-built wheelset

An ENVE SES 6.7 rim set laced 24-spoke to DT 240 EXP hubs, built by hand in our Marrickville workshop, tensioned, stress-relieved and trued before it leaves the bench. Our Pro wheel build and tubeless tape fitted are included and show as two free lines in your cart.

Before you order — what your bike decides

• Rear axle — 12 × 142 only on this wheelset: measure the inside of the dropouts.
• Front axle — 12 × 100 only on this wheelset: check the fork lowers.
• Rotor mount — Centre Lock only on this wheelset: check your rotors.
• Cassette — Shimano HG freehub body: Shimano 11- and 12-speed road / GRX and SRAM 11-speed cassettes fit HG; SRAM 12-speed road and XPLR need XDR — add DT's road XDR body from the strip below and we fit it at the build.

Who it is for

For speed on flat and rolling roads — ENVE's deepest SES pair, 60 mm front and 67 mm rear. Disc brake, 12 × 100 front / 12 × 142 rear thru-axles.

The rider's questions

• What tyres fit? ENVE aero-optimises the SES 6.7 for 27–28 mm labelled tyres; the minimum labelled tyre is 25 mm; maximum pressure 90 psi (6.2 bar) at the 25 mm minimum tyre. ENVE rims are hookless: tubeless-ready tyres only, never above the tyre's marked maximum pressure.
• How fast does the hub engage? 36 points of engagement — Ratchet EXP 36, 10° between clicks. The EXP 54 ratchet kit is a drop-in upgrade (sold separately).
• Warranty? ENVE rims for life for the original owner (5 years for a second owner), with ENVE's crash replacement programme; DT Swiss parts 24 months from purchase; our build work is guaranteed. Any claim comes back to Tune Cycles — see the Warranty tab.
• How long does it take? Built to order from supplier stock — we confirm the build date by email when you order.

Sold separately (shown with this kit): DT's road XDR freehub body (SRAM 12-speed road / XPLR — we fit it at the build), tubeless sealant (Muc-Off No Puncture 140 ml), RT-CL700 160 mm Centre Lock rotor, the Shimano SM-RTAD05 adapter (runs a 6-bolt rotor on a Centre Lock hub; not with SM-RT86 / RT76 aluminium-carrier rotors), a cassette for your freehub body, tyres to suit (sizes above). Rotors: one per wheel, to match your rotor mount and your brake caliper's size range.

How we build it

Every wheel is laced by hand in Marrickville, brought up to tension evenly to the lower of the rim and hub limits (ENVE specifies 120 kgf, about 1,180 N, on the front disc side and the rear drive side), stress-relieved and trued, then checked again before it is packed. ENVE's internal nipples sit in a moulded seat inside the rim and are fitted before the tape goes on. Tubeless tape (27 mm) is fitted to the rim; add valves and sealant and it is ready for tyres.
