X-SYNC 2 builds on the original wide-narrow concept with revised tooth geometry developed through detailed wear analysis. Each tooth is shaped to guide the chain on quickly and hold it firmly through rough terrain, hard efforts, and repeated high-load shifts — resulting in a drivetrain that stays quiet and efficient well into the component's life.

Direct mount advantage

Eliminating the BCD spider interface reduces flex and rotational mass at the chainring. The direct mount ring bolts straight to a compatible Eagle crank, keeping power transfer direct and the drivetrain responsive at the top end of the pedal stroke.
