Ratchet EXP engagement you can rely on
Instead of fragile pawls, the Ratchet EXP uses two fully meshing star ratchets so load is shared across every tooth. It ships with 36-tooth (10°) engagement and can be upgraded to 54-tooth (6.7°) with a simple ratchet swap – no major overhaul required. The result is consistent, serviceable performance that keeps working season after season.
Compatibility & fit
This is a rear hub. It runs a Boost 12 x 148 mm thru-axle, has 32 spoke holes and uses Center Lock disc rotors. It is fitted with a Shimano HG (HyperGlide) freehub body, compatible with 7-, 8-, 9-, 10- and 11-speed Shimano and SRAM cassettes. It is not compatible with Shimano Micro Spline (12-speed) cassettes – choose the Micro Spline hub variant if you run a 12-speed Shimano drivetrain.
DT Swiss covers this hub with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including bearings, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this product.
