The DT Swiss 180 is the brand's flagship hub, built to be the lightest and lowest-friction in the range. This rear MTB Boost version combines a machined aluminium shell, class-leading SINC ceramic bearings and the proven Ratchet EXP drive system.

SINC ceramic and Ratchet EXP
The signature of the 180 is its SINC ceramic cartridge bearings, delivering the lowest friction in the DT Swiss hub range. The Ratchet EXP drive engages two full toothed faces for reliable, evenly loaded power transfer, with 36t engagement as standard and an easy upgrade to a 54t ratchet kit for faster pickup.
Compatibility & fit
Rear position for Center Lock disc MTB wheels. 12/148 mm Boost thru-axle. 28 spoke holes with a straightpull spoke interface. SRAM XD freehub body for XD cassettes. E-bike approved up to 32 km/h or 250 W.
DT Swiss covers this hub with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Normal wear items, including bearings and freehub bodies, are not covered. The DT Swiss crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only and does not apply to this product.
