Jagwire Sport Semi-Metallic Disc Brake Pads for SRAM Level / Elixir / DB
SKU code: BCP-DCA079
Jagwire's most popular disc pad. The semi-metallic compound blends the low noise of a resin pad with the durability of a metallic pad, mounted to a steel backing plate.
Highlights
- Semi-metallic compound: low noise with added durability
- All-purpose pad, an upgrade over most OEM pads (Jagwire)
- Steel backing plate
- Jagwire's Sport performance level
The compound
Semi-metallic sits between organic and metallic pads, which is why Jagwire calls it an excellent all-purpose option and rates it an upgrade over most OEM pads.
Rotor check
If your rotor is marked "For Resin Pads Only", Jagwire says to use organic (resin) pads only: semi-metallic, e-bike and sintered compounds aren't compatible with it.
