Wet and dirty conditions
The sintered compound is mounted on a steel backing plate and resists water, which makes it especially effective in the wet. Jagwire says it's a favourite of cyclocross, DH and enduro racers because it keeps performing in wet, dirty conditions and when pushed to the limit.

Match the model code on your caliper to this list before ordering. Jagwire notes that semi-metallic, E-Bike and sintered compounds aren't compatible with rotors labelled "For Resin Pads Only"; those rotors need organic (resin) pads.
Prefer to leave it to us? Our workshop can fit new pads and bleed your brakes. Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included.
