Shimano Deore CS-M4100 10-speed cassette, 11-46T

A wide-range 10-speed cassette that gives you a genuine bail-out gear for steep climbs without giving up smooth, closely spaced steps in the middle of the block. The Deore-level build uses a lightweight sprocket carrier so the big sprockets add range rather than dead weight.

Highlights

• 11-46T range covers steep climbs and fast rolling terrain on one cassette
• Hyperglide tooth profiling for smooth, predictable shifts under load
• Lightweight sprocket carrier supports the largest sprockets
• Deore durability at a sensible replacement price

Gear progression

Ten sprockets: 11-13-15-18-21-24-28-32-37-46T. The tighter steps sit where you spend most of your time, with the jump to 46T held back for the pitches that need it.

Compatibility and fit

Suits Shimano 10-speed mountain bike drivetrains and mounts on a Shimano Hyperglide freehub body. A 46T low sprocket needs a rear derailleur rated to take it, so check your derailleur's maximum sprocket size and total capacity before ordering. Fit a new chain at the same time if the old one is worn, or the fresh sprockets will wear early.

If you are not sure what your bike takes, ask Tune Cycles before you order.
