The Cast Antagonist is an enduro and downhill tyre built for cornering confidence, predictability and braking bite, developed with Pirelli's motorsport and cycling teams and made with Pirelli's SmartEVO DH compound. This is the 29 x 2.4 DualWall version.

Tread

The Antagonist rolls fast and gives consistent support through aggressive lean angles. Tightly stacked centre knobs with exposed lateral edges give a positive braking bite when you need to shed speed, and supportive intermediate and side knobs keep the feel consistent through the turn. A large footprint adds grip and braking in dry and mixed conditions.

Casing

DualWall is a 2-ply 120 TPI enduro and downhill casing with rubber inserts for sidewall protection. The 120 TPI nylon base keeps it rolling efficiently with a supple feel.

Compound

SmartEVO DH is Pirelli's gravity-specific compound, developed with motorsport expertise and materials for grip, damping and predictability. Designed for mixed terrain and weather conditions.

Compatibility & fit

This 29 x 2.4 tyre fits 29in (622) wheels. Tubeless ready with a folding bead; can also be run with a tube. Developed under ETRTO guidelines for modern wide rims, so check your rim's internal width before fitting. Tyre fitting and tubeless set-up are available as a separate workshop service; they are not included in the price.
