Cane Creek Thudbuster ST G4 Suspension Seatpost – 27.2mm
SKU code: DTW-CKG-SPTBST272G4
$397.95
The Thudbuster ST G4 is Cane Creek's short-travel suspension seatpost – a more compact alternative to the LT, built for everyday riding, commuting and eBikes over broken pavement and mixed surfaces.
Highlights
- 50mm of travel on the same 4-pivot parallel linkage as the LT, in a lower-profile package
- Soft, Medium and Firm elastomers included in the box, with Medium fitted from the factory
- Single-bolt seat clamp with angle adjustment
- Higher rider weight limit than the LT – 330lb/150kg
LT or ST?
Cane Creek positions the ST for well-paved roads and daily comfort, where the LT suits rougher, off-road use. The ST's shorter mechanism also suits riders who need more seatpost exposed for their saddle height.
Options
| Diameter | 27.2mm, 30.9mm, 31.6mm |

Compatibility & fit
Requires round, alloy saddle rails – it is not compatible with oval or carbon rails, per Cane Creek. Minimum insertion is 100mm; maximum extension is 274mm. Length is 345mm (27.2mm) or 375mm (30.9mm/31.6mm). Check your frame's insertion depth before ordering.
Cane Creek warrants the Thudbuster ST G4 for 1 year from original purchase against manufacturing defects; everyday wear, the elastomer bumper, and incorrect installation aren't covered. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Cane Creek's Australian distributor. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law – keep your proof of purchase.
