Caliper & Lever

The BR-M7120 caliper uses a banjo-style hose connection and mounts via standard post mount. Its 4-piston architecture drives a larger pad contact area compared to 2-piston designs, making it especially effective for riders who spend time on long, steep descents. The BL-M7100 lever is 10% stiffer than its M7000 predecessor even at elevated temperatures, maintaining consistent feel when brakes heat up under load. The lever features a 2-finger design and an optimised axle position for improved ergonomics and control.

This is the front brake set with right-hand lever — the correct configuration for Australian-standard bicycles (right lever = front brake). Mount type: post mount. Compatible rotor sizes: 140mm, 160mm, 180mm, 203mm, and 220mm (rotor not included). Brake fluid: Shimano mineral oil. Includes 1000mm SM-BH90-SBM hose.
