The MAX range packs in more balls than a standard cartridge bearing for roughly 40% more load capacity, for the slow, oscillating movement of a suspension frame pivot. Black Bearing says not to use the MAX range in wheels, pedals or derailleur pulleys — those spin continuously and want a standard-fill bearing instead.
