The ASC Pro extension is built at a 15° base angle. These negative wedges stack under the brackets to bring that angle down, in steps as small as 1°, to match your fit.

Know your reach first

For safety, total wedge adjustment is limited to ±10°, so the extension angle can range from 5° to 25°. The ASC Pro includes a switch adapter that reduces reach by 20 mm when the brackets are flipped, and using it reverses the wedge angle: a negative wedge then behaves like a positive one. Profile Design says to know your reach before buying wedges, and to consult a professional bike fitter if you're unsure. Positive wedges (+1° to +5°) are a separate kit.

Bolts and stack

Riser bolts aren't included with ASC Pro kits. The bolt length depends on the wedge and riser stack; Profile Design's ASC Pro manual has a bracket bolt length chart. If the total stack of components exceeds 40 mm, a bridge is mandatory. Riser and bracket bolts torque to 6 Nm.
