Handbuilt built for pure-XC riders.  We use a rim ideal for 2.2" tyres (25mm) and a hub that has won world champs in multiple disciplines.  Using 28H saves us ~50g per wheelset.  When every gram counts. 

DT Swiss XR391 Rim

Modern welded XC rim, developed with a 25 mm inner width. The right width to run wide tires necessary to be competitive on todays demanding Cross Country courses. The welded construction of the XR 391 and the bead blasted, anodized finish are on par with your high end XC ride. The use specific profile, the custom alloy and the use of the PHR nipple interface allow to pair the unpairable: Wide, strong and light.

DT Swiss 240 EXP Boost 32H Hubset

The new 240 is developed for riders with the most extreme ambitions. The latest version of the hub is equipped with the Ratchet EXP system to maximize reliability. The increased bearing distance increases bearing lifetime, the straight spring provides more direct engagement, which reduces wear, and a smaller number of parts not only makes maintenance easier but also reduces weight.

Competition Spokes

This is one of the most versatile spokes in the DT Swiss spoke range. DT Competition gets its special strength from cold forging. This makes it not only extremely durable but thanks to the thinner middle section, it is 48 g lighter than a spoke with a constant diameter of 1.8 mm. The balanced relation between strength and weight of its 2.0 mm counterpart allows for a wide range of uses, from road wheels to super-light Enduro MTB wheels. Weight: from 311 g for 64 spokes at a length of 264 mm.

Squorx Prolock Nipples

Pro Lock is a process where a dual compound, adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel builds. By threading the nipple onto the spoke the adhesive is activated and starts to harden. Re-truing the wheel is still possible after the adhesive has hardened completely, with only a minimal decrease of its thread-lock function.
