A machined alloy ring for SRAM Transmission builds, in both of SRAM's direct mount patterns. 5DEV CNC-machines the T-Type ring in San Diego with a 3 mm offset for a 52–55 mm chainline, and it runs on Transmission, Eagle and Shimano 12-speed chains.

3-bolt or 8-bolt?
SRAM uses two direct mount patterns and a ring only fits the one it's made for. Check whether your crank takes a 3-bolt or an 8-bolt ring and pick that option. Not sure? Send us a photo of the drive-side arm or bring the bike in.
High-pivot bikes
5DEV asks high-pivot owners to check with it before buying to make sure the ring suits their setup. Ask us and we'll confirm it with the distributor.
Fitting
Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. On most cranks a direct mount ring swap means taking the drive-side arm off. The Tune workshop can fit the ring with the right tools, torque the bolts to 5DEV's spec (9 Nm for 3-bolt; 4 Nm in a star pattern for 8-bolt) and check your chainline and shifting.

5DEV backs its products with a limited 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture, covering defects in materials and workmanship. If 5DEV finds a failure was caused by such a defect, it replaces the affected product with a comparable model. The warranty is void if a part from another manufacturer or retailer is used in place of the 5DEV component, so talk to us before replacing anything.
This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with 5DEV's Australian distributor.
