Running 11-speed Dura-Ace rings

5DEV notes that to run 11-speed Dura-Ace you'll need an FC-R9200 12-speed small ring, otherwise you'll run into compatibility issues. Tell us which rings you plan to use and we'll check the combination before you order.

Fitting

Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. The Tune workshop can fit the spider and rings with the right tools, torque everything to spec and set your front derailleur up for the new rings.

Compatibility & fit

  • Crank: 5DEV RGXC cranks, which use an 8-bolt SRAM interface.
  • Chainrings: Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9200 12-speed (sold separately).
  • 11-speed Dura-Ace: 5DEV says you need the FC-R9200 12-speed small ring.
  • Other 8-bolt cranks: 5DEV lists the RGXC only, so check with us first.

5DEV backs its products with a limited 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture, covering defects in materials and workmanship. If 5DEV finds a failure was caused by such a defect, it replaces the affected product with a comparable model. The warranty is void if a part from another manufacturer or retailer is used in place of the 5DEV component, so talk to us before replacing anything.

This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with 5DEV's Australian distributor.
